- To define and test environmental, demographic, economic, social and cultural dimensions of sustainability indicators;
- To identify the regions that present weak development sustainability;
- To choose the case study region;
- To determine the endogenous and exogenous factors that contribute to the weak development sustainability of the case study region;
- To propose spatial planning measures aimed at contributing to the sustainable development of the case study region.
