  • To deepen the knowledge on the phenomenon of second home expansion in Portugal, particularly in the Oeste Region, as a fundamental issue of spatial organization and spatial development policies.
Specific objectives:
  • To identify the factors of second home expansion at the national, regional and local levels;
  • To determine the impacts of the expansion of such expansion on spatial development policies.
