Objectives:

To analyse the evolution of spatial planning in Portugal since its beginning until nowadays in its organizational, technical-administrative and spatial aspects;
To evaluate the performance of structuring public policies in the context of integrated and strategic planning;
To propose new forms of governance, of operationalization and articulation among development stakeholders in the context of new challenges in sustainable development and spatial planning.
