2008/2010 Objectives:
- To identify residential strategies of different social actors in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area;
- To identify factors aiming at explaining residential satisfaction, particularly local identities;
- To understand the functioning of the housing market from both the points of view of the supply side and demand side;
- To identify the factors of change of the housing market in different socio-spatial contexts of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area: consolidated urban areas of different social strata; central and peripheral zones; areas of urban sprawl and rehabilitation; areas of low and high building density; housing for leisure purposes;
- To determine the relationship between residential strategies and housing policies in the socio-spatial contexts in analysis;
- To identify future territorial reconfigurations based on identified residential strategies and dynamics.
